We around here at KCG had the same reaction as those across the country and the world when we found out that Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg had died: enormous sadness for the great loss to everyone. She was not only a woman breaking barriers and pushing for equality, but she also happened to be a thought leader. One of our favorite quotes was about how many women should sit on the Supreme Court. She was quick and to the point: “When I’m sometimes asked ‘When will there be enough (women on the Supreme Court)?’ and my answer is: ‘When there are nine.’ People are shocked. But there’d been nine men, and nobody’s ever raised a question about that.” Touche. RIP RBG!
