Expertise: Storytelling for Impact

Catalyst magazine

Federal City Council

KCG was commissioned to project manage, write and edit the magazine, which is the marketing cornerstone of the Federal City Council’s communications initiatives. Working with the designer, we helped create and launch Catalyst magazine to illuminate the important work of the FC2 and its member trustees.

City Palooza

We worked with City Palooza to profile innovative cities using smart technologies to improve government services and provide new opportunities for citizens.

Kellogg Consulting Group

At KCG, we are asked to host writing seminars and other editorial education programs for our clients. We enjoy the opportunity to talk up the joys associated with good writing, as well as thorny issues of grammar and punctuation. Our “Writing in Free Fall” program is one of our favorites.

Seaberry

Working in collaboration with Seaberry, a highly regarded communications design firm, we conceived the storytelling and approach for Brackets, a book-length case study revealing the work process employed to develop the DC Office of Planning’s [Plan] DC outreach campaign.

Great at Work

We worked with author Morten Hansen, a consultant with Apple University and a professor at the University of California Berkeley, as he wrote his latest book, Great at Work, contributing specialized content from indepth interviews with business owners across the nation.

District of Columbia Bar

Washington Lawyer magazine is a leading resource for cutting-edge journalism in the District of Columbia’s legal community. We produced a high level of innovative, quality content, including long-form stories about economics, technology, politics and government, and the business of law.
